Happy Anniversary to Us!

Martin and I have been married 7 years! Wow! And we can definitely say they've all been happy ones. Married life has been very good to us. We thank God for bringing us together and for being with us every step of the way.

Here's to many more years of wedded bliss!

Water Fun

Isaac got a sprinkler for his birthday and we decided to test it out. He had a great time running around it, through it and over it. Daddy even put on his bathing suit so he could run around it, through it and over it too.

Isaac had his 2-year well child appointment and all is well! =) Actually, all is more than well. His ears look great! We haven't heard that about his ears in months (9 to be exact!). He's also growing at a good rate and developing just how a 2-year old should.

New words (he knows well over 50, which is a 2-year old milestone): Pickle, Jeep and berry.

Blueberry Hill

One of our favorite things about summer - fresh blueberries! Every year we go picking/eating with friends. There's nothing like blueberry pancakes in January made with the berries we put in the freezer to savor all year long. Yum! Isaac was a big help and took his 'taste-testing' role very seriously.

2!

Our curious little monkey is 2! Wow! Where has the time gone?

We had a great family party yesterday. Thanks to everyone for coming and celebrating with us. There's a plethora of new books and toys that have been keeping our 2-year old very busy.

We're so thankful for Isaac and the fun he brings to our lives. What did we ever do before he came along? ;)

Chillin'

Beach Bum

We took a 'mini-vacation' for a full day of boating and beaching! Isaac loves the water! He had a great time kicking and splashing, it was just like the bathtub only with an endless supply of water. The real bonus is there were no limits on the kicking and splashing (at home the water has to stay in the tub).

New words: "Please", "Run" and "Happy".

A Fun Fourth!

Isaac was a little leary at the beginning of the parade today. I'm not sure if it was the group of motorcycles or fire trucks that startled him more. However, once things calmed down he got more comfortable and ventured off my lap to begin an impressive collection of candy. He commented with either an "ooh" or a "whoa" with each addition to his candy bag.
