Where it all began

Saturday night we ventured back to On the Border. This was our first time there since the infamous water-breaking took place 7 months ago. I'm happy to say it was an uneventful dinner. We waited over an hour (Isaac was very patient and enjoyed people watching) but that Guacamole Live sure is worth it! It was a nice family dinner and definitely brought back some memories; like how I ran out the back door to call the doctor while Martin went on a hunt for the waitress and the bill. Martin and I were commenting that it was a night we'll never forget and such a great way for Isaac to enter the world as he has given us so many unforgettable moments since.

Super Bowl #1

Our little dude had fun watching his first Super Bowl game. We were disappointed that the Seahawks lost (we're teaching him to root for the underdog) but it was still an enjoyable event. Who knows, maybe someday he'll don his own Super Bowl ring...or participate in the GR Ballet, either way, we're just gonna love him.

Trois, Tres, San! Three teeth!

Wow! Last night I was giving Isaac his bottle, just before putting him down for the night, and I noticed a new tooth. It's just to the left of his two bottom front teeth.

We (Melissa and I) are so blessed to have little Isaac as our son. He makes us so amazingly happy and every day brings an new adventure.

Veggie Fan

Isaac has only tried a few different kinds of veggies, but he seems to be a big fan. He kicks his feet in anticipation and smiles and talks in between bites. Although, he does thoroughly enjoy nibbling on the spoon too but we like to think we have a nutrition advocate in the making.

Oh, and as this picture shows, everything still goes in the mouth. If he can grab it, he's gonna taste it.
