Two of a kind

Noah still likes to hold Isaac, but Isaac would much rather play with his cousin than sit on his lap. Especially since Noah had his matchbox cars with him! It is really fun to watch Isaac and his cousins play. They were running around the house chasing Isaac and even followed him under the dining room table. The giggles and smiles are non-stop when this group gets together!

Take a look back at 'Hold Baby Isaac' on December 4, 2005 to see how much these two guys have grown.

If you build it, they will come

Martin made a fort this weekend. Isaac was eager to check it out and he had plenty of toys in tow so Daddy wouldn't get bored while he was camped out inside. We left it up for a few days so each journey to the basement involved more toy stashing.

By the way, just this morning Isaac called Martin "Daddy" as opposed to "Dada." He's also saying "Woof woof" when he sees a doggie. He loves to throw or kick any and every ball in the house so we hear "ball" quite frequently. Oh, and how could I forget the all powerful "NO!". We're hearing that one pretty regularly too.

Favorite Hang Out

Isaac has discovered the couch. Although he's not quite tall enough to climb up there by himself, he is good at getting his point across. He'll grab some toys and/or books, walk over to the couch and pat the cushion. Then he waits patiently for someone to help him out.

Isaac has also started taking Martin and/or me by the hand and walking around the house with us. We now know which parts of the house all three of us can walk through together and which parts require a single-file line. Important stuff.

Measure Up

It's been awhile since we've taken Isaac's picture in our 'measuring stick'. He's now to the point where he won't sit still long enough for the picture. Take a look at June 12, March 13 and October 12 (2005) to see how far he's come! Where has the time gone?

Play, play, and more play

Isaac is having so much fun with all of his new toys! He will only stop playing long enough to eat and then he is back at it again. He used to love to go 'bye-bye' with us, but now he cries when we get him ready to leave the house because he'd much rather stay home and play. I can't say that I blame him though, I've been enjoying his new toys too; they sure have come a long way since I was a kid.
